Meet Haley

Founder, Chief Creative Officer

Haley Ingersoll is the Founder & Chief Creative Officer of Pittsburgh Social Health. Originally from Wisconsin, Haley relocated in July of 2020 after finishing her Masters in Social Work. As many of you reading can imagine (or may know from experience), this was a challenging time to relocate .

Making friends and feeling a sense of community took longer than anticipated, but in time, she found it was well worth the effort. Along the way, she realized there are many others who are also going through the same thing: whether it’s relocating for school or work, changes within a family or friendship, or other major life events, there are many people struggling with social isolation here and throughout the US.

This led Haley to establish Pittsburgh Social Health. She has since made it her mission to cultivate a sense of belonging for other newcomers + folks who are looking for meaningful connections here in the ‘Burgh.

Her hope with Pittsburgh Social Health is not only to support others in developing strong connections, but to improve the culture around social connection at large.

Outside of PSH and her day job as Head of Community at Pittsburgh Tomorrow, she enjoys reading, distance running, indoor volleyball, attending concerts, travel, and photography.
